INTERSEKT FinTech 2023! XDC Australia’s Sean White joins this vibrant FinTech hub festival

INTERSEKT FinTech was BACK and XDC Australia’s Sean White enetred this Melbourne digital ghetto – in a world of technology and innovation. Few events captivate the imagination quite like INTERSEKT FESTIVAL and this year, in 2023, it proved to be an unforgettable experience for Sean, a dedicated core member of the XDC Network team based in Australia.

The Anticipation

The weeks leading up to the festival, Sean was buzzing with excitement. For the last 7 years INTERSEKT FESTIVAL had gained a reputation for being a hub of technological advancement, a playground for startups and a haven for visionaries. Sean couldn’t wait to be a part of it all, representing XDC, a Blockchain at the forefront of cutting-edge technology with utility dripping from it’s nodes.

The Arrival

As the day of the festival finally arrived, Sean stepped into the Grand Hyatt with a sense of anticipation. The air was filled with an electric energy, and it was immediately evident that he was in for an incredible experience. The venue was a sprawling canvas of innovation, including booths from startups and scaleups showcasing their groundbreaking ideas, with one of the more memorable connections was over a cup of tea at Clima. The Roundtables with Austrade and, also the APAC relocation focus, was certainly going to be a highlight.

Networking Opportunities Galore

For Sean, one of the most exciting aspects of INTERSEKT FESTIVAL was the networking opportunities it presented. He had the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, entrepreneurs and industry experts. Conversations flowed like a river, and ideas bounced back and forth. Sean couldn’t help but be inspired by the passion and creativity that surrounded him; a number of salient conversations were made.

Keynote Speakers and Panels

The festival wasn’t just about networking; it was also an intellectual feast. Keynote speakers and panel discussions featured some of the brightest minds in the FinTech world. Sean was particularly impressed by panels on the future of Digitial Identity and its potential impact on various industries, including finance and retail. It left him with much food for thought.

XDC’s Presence

INTERSEKT FESTIVAL was also an opportunity for XDC to showcase its innovations. Sean was proud to represent his company and engage with all attendees on matters of Tokenisation, Finance, Payments and Trade. He had the chance to introduce attendees to XDC’s groundbreaking projects – including XDC Trade Network – a complete suite of dApps for Digitalisation of Trade and Payments – and discussed potential collaborations with other FinTech enthusiasts.

INTERSEKT FinTech Festival’s Closing Night

As the festival came to a close, Sean couldn’t help but reflect on the whirlwind of experiences he had over the past few days. The connections he made, the knowledge he gained and the inspiration he found were invaluable.
